Summer Camp at the Naugatuck YMCA is a place where kids can make new friends, try new activities, and continue learning and growing while school is out. The program welcomes campers entering Kindergarten through freshman year of high school, with volunteer opportunities available for those entering their sophomore year.
Each day begins with an Opening Ceremony before campers break into groups for a variety of rotating activities, including arts and crafts, STEM projects, sports, swimming, group games, and more. Thursdays bring an extra element of excitement, with either special visitors coming to the Y or the entire camp heading out for an off-site field trip.
The core camp day runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with optional extended care available from 7:00–9:00 AM and 4:00–6:00 PM. Families can choose full-week enrollment or a part-time option on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, making it easy to find a schedule that fits their summer plans.
